This 'upload' service allows quick and easy upload of very large documents (i.e. movies, presentations, print flyers) for you and your friends and clients. There is a 'free' version but even the 'paid' versions are extremely reasonable for what yiou get. Amazingly fast uploads and downloadds - not sure how I lived without this service. Now I just receive a short e-mail notice that a huge file awaits me - I click and download. No more clogging up e-mail - wonderful.

Search Engine Information - so you have a web site and want to register with all the search engines. What you should know is that it can take from 6 weeks to 6 months for your listing to show on a search engine. And, some are now charging just to be listed!

  • Here is a FREE program AVG Anti-Virus (5 stars at ZDNet). Been advised by a couple of techi's that this is a good program to use.
  • If you don't have a program, want to investigate different programs, etc., you can scan your computer FREE with Kaspersky - you can also download a trial version to try it out.

E-COMMERCE: Everyone wants to know about selling on-line. One way you may wish to try is PayPal. Another service is CCNow. Be sure to read everything before you make a decision on this.
